Established 2008
Anchorage Garage Door Pros started in the back of a single pickup truck during the harsh winter of 2008. Our founder, Mike, noticed that national franchise companies were installing "standard" doors that simply couldn't handle Alaska's sub-zero temperatures.
Springs were snapping at -20°F, openers were freezing, and uninsulated doors were costing homeowners hundreds in heating bills.
We decided to do things differently. We committed to using only cold-weather-rated lubricants, high-cycle galvanized springs, and the highest R-value insulation available. Today, we are proud to be Anchorage's most trusted local experts.
